Exciting news! The IMAGIO consortium is uniting university medical centres, academic partners, patient and healthcare professional organizations, as well as smaller and larger companies in the medical technology and pharmaceutical industry, the IMAGIO consortium has the potential to make a significant impact on improving cancer treatment.
We are proud to announce that the consortium has been granted a 24M euro Innovative Health Initiative grant for a 4-year project. The primary focus is on developing minimally invasive treatments for lung cancer, liver cancer, and soft tissue sarcomas. This funding will drive innovation and pave the way for transformative advancements in cancer care.
The recent kickoff meeting at Philips in Best on 30th and 31st May 2023 showcased the immense potential for synergies across various innovation areas. The collective determination to make a difference in cancer treatment was palpable, and I am eagerly looking forward to collaborating on this challenging project. Together, we will push the boundaries of cancer care and improve outcomes for patients worldwide.
