“Thirty years since the Beijing Declaration, significant progress has been made in advancing women’s health. Yet, critical gaps persist—particularly in prevention, timely detection, and management. Strengthening diagnostic capacity is key to closing these gaps but remains underprioritized. In this piece, Paula Bellostas Muguerza, Anna B. Kearney and I explore why investing in diagnostics is fundamental to achieving women’s health equity and delivering on the promises made to women and girls globally.”
