Ensuring greater support for childhood cancer within and beyond the European Parliament – CCI Europe
Childhood Cancer International – Europe shared a post on LinkedIn:
On Monday, we took a big step in ensuring greater support for childhood cancer and rare disease advocacy within and beyond the European Parliament!
The CCI Europe policy team and the leader of the European Affairs Pillar, Delphine Heenen had the honor of attending the launch event of the Intergroup on Cancer and Rare Diseases at the European Parliament.
This newly created Intergroup (2024-2029 legislature) unites MEPs committed to advancing policies on cancer and rare diseases, with a strong focus on childhood cancer.
The group is chaired by MEP Vlad Voiculescu (Renew, Romania), alongside Vice-Chairs MEP Stine Bosse (Renew, Denmark), MEP Tilly Metz (Greens/EFA, Luxembourg), MEP Alessandra Moretti (SandD, Italy), and MEP Tomislav Sokol (EPP, Croatia).
The launch event, held in the exclusive MEP Salon, brought together key representatives from the European Commission, Council of the European Union, and other key stakeholders, all working towards stronger collaboration in this crucial field.”
