“New Policy Review in The Lancet Group Oncology on Cancer in the Eastern Mediterranean Region!”
Scientists and public health experts from IARC and the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (EMRO) describe the present cancer profile of the Eastern Mediterranean region as a whole and of individual countries within the region, as well as joint activities carried out by IARC and the Regional Office during the past decade with the aim of building capacity in cancer surveillance.
