“Meet Laura, a proud Knight of the Bald Table in the League of Legendary Heroes! Her journey began in 2018, inspired by a young man she knew through Camp Rising Sun, a camp for kids with cancer.
Laura’s determination to shave was set after her small town lost a young boy to cancer. She started as a shavee but soon leveled up – now hosting her own event, Shave for the Kids, in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
Over the years, her family has joined her efforts, including her youngest grandson. While he keeps his curls due to pressure from friends, he’s always there to support!
Thank you, Laura, for your dedication and for making ripples in the fight against childhood cancer. You’re an inspiration!”
