Alejandra Mendez and Cecilia Quiroga about how Home Away From Home is changing lives in Bolivia – CCI
Childhood Cancer International shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Don’t miss this engaging conversation between Alejandra Mendez, CCI Vice President and Cecilia Quiroga, Fundraising Director at Nuestra Esperanza Foundation (FNE) in La Paz, Bolivia.
FNE is one of the three beneficiaries of the CCI Home Away From Home programme, which helps reduce treatment abandonment among children and adolescents with cancer by providing a second home for them and their caregivers, close to vital health services.
Ale and Cecilia discuss the impact of the programme in Bolivia and provide some insights for organisations applying to the programme’s second edition (Application deadline: Friday, 16 May 2025).
