“The third video from the educational series on cancer biomarker testing by Thermo Fisher Scientific is called ‘Exploring different types of cancer mutations: a simplified guide’.
Not all mutations causing cancer are the same. There are different types, such as substitutions, insertions, deletions, copy number variations and gene fusions. Analyzing these mutations through biomarker testing is important for accurate diagnosis and informed treatment decisions.
This series of five videos – which we are presenting this week – has been created to help patients and caregivers understand biomarker testing and is endorsed by Lung Cancer Europe.”
