- 2:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Seminar to be held on April 17, 2025, at the IRCCS Foundation National Cancer Institute of Milan to tell about the sport practised by girls and boys of our Pediatrics.
For some years now, there has been a program of sports training in the hospital and outdoors, led by sports professionals and kinesiologists, which aims to increase opportunities for physical exercise and movement for children and young people with tumors.
As part of a series of events open to the public organized by IRCSS, the Sports Project, the coaches will be presented, the stories of some of these young athletes, what doctors say, the barriers and prejudices that still remain.
The recipients will not be (only) doctors, but also above all family members of the children, nurses, sports people (school sports science teachers, sports coaches, students and professors of the faculty of Sports Science), medical students, sports doctors.
Admission is free and open to all.”
