We are proud to announce that UICC has been awarded the Impact Award by Geneva Tourism & Conventions Foundation for the success of the World Cancer Congress 2024. Recognising the positive influence of the congress held in Geneva, this award highlights the global impact of the event, which brought together over 2,000 participants from 122 countries to advance cancer control and collaboration.
UICC CEO Dr Cary Adams and Celine Surmont-Francina, Head of Congresses and Events, were honoured to receive the award at the Ambassadors’ Dinner in Geneva. Their dedication, along with the incredible efforts of the UICC team, members, and partners, made the World Cancer Congress 2024 an outstanding success.
