“Celebrate International Childhood Cancer Day with Us at The Foundry Consortium Festival!
On February 15th – International Childhood Cancer Day, join us for ‘Crafting Resilience’, a hands-on arts and crafts workshop led by Nina Fernàndez Puig, Director of Operations at the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, as part of The Foundry Festival, a week of free public programming designed to create connections with diverse communities.
We’re beyond excited to take part in this inspiring event with our incredible partner, The Foundry, a place where so many of the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation’s initiatives take place. This year’s festival theme, resilience, deeply resonates with us, as it reflects the strength and perseverance of children and families facing childhood cancer.
At the Richi House, we witness the power of creativity in building resilience every day. In our monthly sessions with childhood cancer survivors and their families, art serves as a tool for healing, self-expression, and connection.
In this special workshop at The Foundry, we’ll explore collage-making, painting, and upcycling, using creativity to reflect on challenges, celebrate triumphs, and embrace the power of self-expression.
