Chinomso Nwozichi: Concluding my activities to mark the 2025 World Cancer Day
Chinomso Nwozichi, Assistant Professor of Nursing at Kennesaw State University, posted on LinkedIn:
“Concluding my activities to mark the 2025 world cancer day, I’m thrilled to share two exciting updates!
First, my manuscript “Time Matters: Addressing the Hidden Toxicity in Cancer Care and Placing Emphasis Where It Belongs” has been accepted for publication in Cancer Nursing! This research aims to shed light on the often-overlooked aspects of cancer care and how addressing time-sensitive issues can improve patient outcomes. I’m honored that this work will contribute to such a crucial field.
Second, my abstract “The Experience of African-Immigrant Nurses Transitioning to the American Healthcare System” has been accepted for oral presentation at the Sigma 48th Biennial Convention! This presentation will highlight the challenges and resilience of Africa-trained nurses as they navigate new healthcare environments.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to share these valuable insights.”
