Elizabeth Ugwoma Awo-Ejeh: Reflecting on one of the most life-changing journeys I’ve ever faced
Elizabeth Ugwoma Awo-Ejeh, Breast Cancer Survivor and Advocate, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It’s World Cancer Day, and my heart is overflowing with emotion as I reflect on one of the most life-changing journeys I’ve ever faced. Cancer may have taken so much from me, but it could never take away my faith. God has seen me through it all, even when I felt forgotten. In my darkest moments, He has always proven that He will never leave me.
To anyone fighting cancer, I want you to know you are not forgotten. God sees you, He hears your prayers, and He is with you every step of the way. Even when the pain feels unbearable, hold on tight. God has a plan that is bigger than this moment.
He will answer your silent prayers, bring you peace, and one day, He will take the pain away. Keep fighting. The strength you need is within you, and He will carry you through.
To everyone who has stood by me through this journey—those who have prayed, supported me financially, checked in, and stayed close – I am beyond grateful. Your love has been a lifeline, and I can’t thank you enough.
While I may never be able to repay you all, I know for sure that God will. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed, and He will bless you in ways you cannot imagine.
Together, we rise. Together, we fight. Your support, prayers, and unwavering presence are a reminder of the power of love, faith, and community.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
