“We joined Project PINK BLUE for the World Cancer Day Walk, and it was nothing short of inspiring!
Each cancer journey is unique, but today, we stood united – walking side by side, celebrating resilience, courage, and the determination to conquer. The event was officially opened by Prof. Usman Aliyu Malami, the Director General of the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment. He commended everyone for showing up to walk in honor of World Cancer Day and encouraged us all to strengthen our commitment to eliminating cancer by spreading awareness at every capacity.
From an energizing aerobic session to an impactful health talk, we moved through the streets of Abuja, starting from Transcorp Hotels Plc and back, raising awareness and spreading hope.
To ensure safety throughout the walk, our ambulance was on ground, providing medical support as needed. We also took the opportunity to promote early detection, offering exclusive coupons with a 25% discount on Pap smear screenings – because prevention is key!
To every survivor, warrior, and supporter of the fight against cancer – this was for you! Together, we can create a world where cancer is no longer a threat.”
