Ashok Palaniappan: The seminar on “Multi-omics approaches for Software / AI as Medical Devices” is now available
Ashok Palaniappan, Associate Professor at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy
“The seminar on ‘Multi-omics approaches for Software / AI as Medical Devices’ has now been published and available for viewing:
It is organized in three parts:
(i) Learning with Cancers – types of learning problems encountered in cancer research.
(ii) Solution workflows – a discussion of example workflows for these problems, including some developed in our lab.
(iii) Translation of SaMDs: explainable AI, mitigation of model bias and monitoring of AIaMDs for sustained performance.
A brief demo session is included, followed by an informative Q and A / discussion with Natarajan Vaithilingam on the state-of-the-art clinical perspective. The seminar is likely to be valuable to all interested in AI for Medicine. Much thanks to the team at Sage TCRT / Simrun Kaur-Rathore for facilitating this event.
We are inviting submissions for a Special Collection on SaMD / AIaMD for cancer applications.”
