Humaid Al-Shamsi: Highlighting cancer research efforts in the UAE
Humaid Al-Shamsi, Founder and Director of Medical Oncology at Burjeel Medical City, posted the following on LinkedIn:
“I had the honor, on the sidelines of the Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Majlis, to present a copy of my book, ‘Cancer Research in the UAE,’ the first book I published years ago on cancer in the country, to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
His Highness appreciated these scientific efforts and expressed his personal interest in the importance of raising community awareness to reduce the risk of advanced-stage cancer.
I extend my gratitude to His Highness and the organizers of the Majlis for their commitment to highlighting this vital issue for all members of the community.”
