As 2024 comes to an end, we’re proud to share the incredible milestones at the Breast Cancer Comprehensive Center (BCCC) at NCI Cairo University—a center dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
Key Achievements:
Outpatient Visits: 106,627 in 2024
New Patients: 6,328
Surgeries Performed: 1,406 (+11.85% from 2023)
Chemotherapy Sessions: 50,618 (+16.96%)
Radiotherapy Sessions: 18,178 (+35.92%)
MDT Cases Discussed: 6,776
Supportive Services:
Psychological Support: 2,417 sessions (+38.11%)
Nutrition Clinic Visits: 3,317 (+155.55%)

Emad Shash is the General Manager of the Breast Cancer Comprehensive Center of the National Cancer Institute at Cairo University. He is also a Lecturer at Cairo University and a Medical Oncologist at the National Cancer Institute.
