Lisa A. Lacasse: Urgent call to pass the MCED Act for multi-cancer detection

Lisa A. Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Now is the time to act! Send a message to your members of Congress right now and urge them to pass this bill to lay the groundwork for Medicare to cover innovative multi-cancer early detection tests once they are FDA-approved and shown to have clinical benefit.”

Quoting American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network:

“URGENT: Congress has just days left to pass a year-end package. The package includes language based on the MCED Act, a bill that would make groundbreaking multi-cancer early detection screening tests more available.

We’ve never been this close to passing this bill. And it’s all thanks to the incredible work of ACS CAN advocates like you!

The final push! Send a message to your members of Congress right now and urge them to pass this bill to lay the groundwork for Medicare to cover innovative multi-cancer early detection tests once they are FDA-approved and shown to have clinical benefit.”
