“Stem Cell Transplant and Oncology-Critical Care Workshop
First of its kind Workshop on ‘Stem cell transplant and Onco- Critical Care’ was conducted on 11th Dec 2024 at Rajiv Gandhi Givernment General Hospital, Madras Medical College.
This workshop is a pre-conference workshop of 26th National Conference of IAP Pediatric Intensive Care (PEDICRITICON 2024), funded by ICMR CAR Project on Aplastic Anemia. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
51 Participants from several hospitals and medical colleges from Tamilnadu and other states attended this workshop which was conducted by twenty Eminent National and International faculties.
Various topics related to the ICU aspects of Stem Cell Transplantation and Oncology were discussed.
Our Sincere Thanks to our Esteemed Dean Prof Dr Theranirajan, Madras Medical College and Administrative support of Tamilnadu State (Honourable Project Director, TNHSP) and CMCHIS (Comprehensive Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme) that Madras Medical College has now performed 125 Bone Marrow Transplantation in children and adults with blood disorders! My Heartfelt thanks to our BMT Team for working wholeheartedly and striving hard to save each patient!
