”DAY 1: AORTIC Conference Highlights! We’re thrilled to be part of the AORTIC Conference in Dakar, Senegal, and Day 1 was nothing short of extraordinary! The day commenced with an enlightening session on the “Introduction of ACLI Programme,” expertly crafted by the AORTIC committee. This initiative promises great strides in the fight against cancer. Next, we delved into “Advancing Cancer Research Careers” with insightful group discussions. We tackled the challenges and facilitators at the institutional level, mentorship, and research training, paving the way for progress in our mission. The afternoon was dedicated to “Research Project Management for Cancer in Africa,” thanks to D43 STARS and DFCI Project University Trainers. Valuable insights were shared, reshaping our approach to project management in the fight against cancer. And to top it all off, networking opportunities abounded, emphasizing the importance of partnership and collaborations, which are the driving forces behind innovation and enhanced productivity.
