Lisa A. Lacasse: So much to be thankful for!
Thanksgiving was on Thursday, November 28, 2024. On this occasion, physicians worldwide have expressed their gratitude. Lisa A. Lacasse, President of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), shared a post on LinkedIn on the occasion:
“So much to be thankful for!
Today, I’m feeling especially grateful to spend the day with my wonderful family—my husband, our daughter, and our 3 sons. I’m also thankful that every day I get to work towards reducing the cancer burden and ending cancer as we know it, for everyone.
We couldn’t do this important work without outstanding and tireless volunteers and supporters—patients, survivors and loved ones nationwide.
A HUGE shoutout to the fantastic and dedicated team that drives our efforts at the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and colleagues at the American Cancer Society!
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!”
