AACI President Dr. Rob Winn moderated the panel ‘Paving the Way for Navigation at Scale,’ which brought together leading experts, including former AACI board member Ruben Mesa.
The panel highlighted innovative strategies to expand equitable navigation programs, improve health equity, and create sustainable opportunities for healthcare practices. This significant discussion underscored AACI’s commitment to advancing access and equity in cancer care.”

Robert A. Winn, M.D., is the Director and Lipman Chair in Oncology at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and a professor at VCU School of Medicine. Winn oversees nearly 150 scientists and clinical investigators and is nationally recognized for his community engagement efforts. He manages a research lab focusing on lung cancer and health disparities, supported by NIH and Veterans Affairs Merit awards. Previously, he directed the University of Illinois Cancer Center and held various leadership roles at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
