Pat Garcia-Gonzalez: Supporting The Max Foundation to expand access to cancer treatment in LMICs
Pat Garcia-Gonzalez, CEO of The Max Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“During a site visit to Cambodia last year, I had the privilege of meeting Bunthan, a talented photographer and tour guide who was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. Through our partner MMC Hospital in Phnom Penh, he was able to access the medicine he needed at no cost. Today, he is thriving as a tour guide and pursuing his passion for photography, all while supporting other people living with cancer. His resilience definitely left a deep impression on me and I am privileged to call him my friend.
This Giving Tuesday, I would like to invite you to support The Max Foundation to expand access to cancer treatment in low- and middle-income countries, like Cambodia. Your generosity enables people like Bunthan to access the treatment they need to continue spending time with their families.
As a token of our appreciation for your support, you’ll receive limited edition prints from Bunthan’s photography collection, featuring unique scenes from Cambodia.
You can learn more and donate here.”
