In addition to his role at CHOC, he also holds prestigious positions as a board member of Childhood Cancer International and Chairman of Childhood Cancer International Africa. With a career that reflects dedication to supporting children and families affected by cancer, Lewis has become a driving force in the fight against childhood cancer in South Africa.
His journey to becoming CEO of CHOC was not straightforward. Initially, he built his career in the corporate world, where he acquired a range of valuable skills and experiences. However, over time, he felt the need to transition into a sector that resonated with his personal values.
