“‘Baheya and GE Healthcare’s Journey of Collaboration at the Breast Cancer Screening AI and Multimodality Workshop’.
The 7th Baheya Foundation Breast Cancer Conference recently featured a significant workshop titled ‘Breast Cancer Screening AI and Multimodality’.
The workshop is part of a series of AI-read mammogram training workshops initiated in 2021, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals in the region.
This year’s event was notably supported by GE HealthCare Middle East, Turkey and Africa, a leader in mammography, which has been pivotal in providing high-quality images and state-of-the-art devices to ensure the best service for breast cancer candidate patients.
The event highlighted the ongoing collaboration between Baheya Foundation Hospital and GE HealthCare. This partnership, which began in 2015, has been instrumental in advancing breast cancer screening in Baheya Charity Women’s Cancer Hospital through high-quality imaging and cutting-edge technology.
Beyond equipment, GE HealthCare has actively supported educational initiatives, including workshops, online webinars, and more, significantly contributing to the professional development of healthcare providers.
