Steven Artandi: Discovery of Persistent ecDNA Transcription During Cell Division
Steven Artandi, Director of the Stanford Cancer Institute, shared a paper by King L. Hung et al. on X, adding the following:
“SCI members Howard Y. Chang, Mischel Lab & collaborators discovered that ecDNA transcription persists during cell division, allowing ecDNAs to stay interconnected, & segregating together as multi-circle units into daughter cells.”
