Alfredo Colina on comparing real-time multimodal analysis of CAR-T cells to more traditional phenotypic and functional assays
Anthony Zamora, Assistant Professor at Medical College of Wisconsin, reshared a post by Alfredo Colina, Graduate Research Assistant at Medical College of Wisconsin on LinkedIn, adding:
“Another amazing poster presentation by Alfredo Colina at SITC’s annual meeting in Houston!
He shared some of his latest findings comparing real-time multimodal analysis of CAR T cells on Bruker Cellular Analysis’ Beacon platform to more traditional phenotypic and functional assays (e.g. flow-based phenotypic characterization, cytotoxicity assays on the xCELLigence system, etc.) and found that the single cell readouts from the Beacon platform could distinguish responders from nonresponders based on their unique functional signatures.
Alfredo Colina will be finishing his graduate studies at the end of this year and entering the job market, so if there are any companies or labs in need of a highly talented researcher with knowledge in immuno-oncology and single cell workflow development, please feel free to reach out to Alfredo on LinkedIn!”
Quoting Alfredo Colina‘s post on LinkedIn:
“I’m grateful to Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer(SITC)’s organizing committee for the opportunity to share our work at this year’s annual meeting and engage in transformative discussion on advancing single-cell functional assays for cell therapy potency.
Our work highlights the implementation of a multiparameter characterization strategy that facilitates capturing more granular details of how cell CAR-T therapies function post-manufacturing.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this work as well as to the patients and families that allow us to continue expanding the boundaries of analytical characterization in cell therapy potency.”
