“It was a pleasure to meet the IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization distinguished Scientists Partha Basu, Isabel Mosquera Metcalfe, Valerie McCormack during their tour of healthcare facilities across Egypt and Luxor, accompanied by Prof. Hesham ElGhazaly Head of the Scientific Committee of the women health Presedential Intiative and Dr. Hatem Amin, Director of the Executive Office of the women health Presidential Initiative.
Their visit to Shefa Al Orman Hospital highlighted the Presidential Women’s Health Initiative, focused on cancer prevention, early detection, and quality care for women.
They also explored our advanced research infrastructure, including ongoing cancer studies and our comprehensive cancer registry.
This visit showcased our commitment to data-driven cancer control and cutting-edge research to improve health outcomes locally and contribute to global cancer research efforts.”
