Paco Arango: Aladina Foundation turns 19!
Paco Arango posted on Facebook:
“Today we turn 19!!!.
Thank you to all who help us.”
Paco Arango is the President and Founder of Fundación Aladina, an organization dedicated to supporting children with cancer. He is also a writer, director, and producer at Producciones CALCON, where he serves as CEO.
When Paco Arango first stepped into a children’s cancer ward as a volunteer in 2001, he found his life’s mission and a way to give back for his own good fortune. In 2005, this mission led to the creation of Fundación Aladina. Since its founding, Aladina has worked tirelessly to ensure that no seriously ill child or their family ever loses hope or the will to fight. The foundation offers love and support from diagnosis through the difficult journey of childhood cancer.
Today, Aladina supports more than 1,500 seriously ill children across Spain each year through partnerships with over 18 hospitals. In 2023, Aladina expanded its global reach by becoming a member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), a global organization focused on cancer control worldwide.
This year during the OncoDaily Party at Barcelona, Ishtar Espejo, the CEO of Aladina Foundation, was honored with OncoDaily’s Yvonne award for Humanitarian Work, recognizing its outstanding contributions to cancer care and support around the world.
