“This week we marched on Capitol Hill with Metavivor Research and Support Inc. to advocate for increased funding for Metastatic Breast Cancer, spoke w/ staffers to ask our local/state legislators to support legislation to benefit patients diagnosed w/ MBC, including the Cancer Drug Parity Act & Metastatic Breast Cancer Access to Care Act. And, in order to have better data on MBC, update/modernize the SEER registry.

In addition, we presented a powerful performance of Andrew Silver’s documentary theater play, IV: Our Lives where we speak the words of those living with, and friends who’ve died from, MBC.

Seeing old friends, meeting new ~ an incredible gathering demonstrating that We Are Stronger Together.”
