IR provides insights into how best practices can be applied effectively in real-world settings, helping countries overcome challenges in combating NCDs like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
By engaging stakeholders, building resources, and fostering collaboration across sectors, IR paves the way for stronger, more impactful interventions.

“This new report shares the experience from two countries on how to build the capacity for NCDs implementation research. Despite having evidence and WHO best buys, the burden of NCDs and their risk factors remain very high. Implementation research is a useful tool to bring relevant stakeholders around the table and identify practical steps to achieve the impact. How can we build a culture of practitioners and researchers working together at national level to support NCD policy implementation ?
