Robin Zon: Rhode Island as the newest soon to be ASCO State Oncology Society

Robin Zon posted on LinkedIn:

“Congratulations to Rhode Island as the newest soon to be ASCO State Oncology Society. Due to the hard work of many people, including Dr Stephanie Graff , Dr Don Dizon and Dr Jeremy Warner, Rhode Island has reestablished a voice for oncology professionals in their state.

Today, the below slate of officers and Board of Directors were elected. This is an awesome group of dedicated and compassionate people trying to make an impactful difference for the care of their patients and the well-being of their colleagues in the state of Rhode Island.

So glad to see your members joining the ACT network pictured below.

Kudos to you all ! and so great to see this during my presidential year. Together we can drive knowledge to action and build a better future – through empowering advocacy, utilizing emerging technologies and embracing community. Your group is an perfect example of this!”

Stephanie Graff shared this post, adding:

“What an honor to be a part of helping bring the 48th American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) State Affiliate (back) to life.

Rhode Island is small but mighty, with unique needs in our cancer community. We are proud to have a state affiliate to advocate to best care, advance education and promote oncology professionals statewide.

So happy Dr. Robin Zon, ASCO President, was able to attend our inaugural meeting to serve as our keynote speaker.”
