Fumiko Ladd Chino: Prior Authorization can significantly stress patient at the most vulnerable point of their lives
Fumiko Ladd Chino shared a post by Dave Adler, VP of Advocacy at American Society for Radiation Oncology, on X:
” ‘It’s like saying instead of an extra-strength Tylenol you can only have a baby aspirin… pain is less likely to be controlled, disease is less likely to be controlled’
Priorauth can significantly stress patient at the most vulnerable point of their lives.”
Quoting Dave Adler‘s (VP of Advocacy at American Society for Radiation Oncology) post:
”‘Unfortunately,’ Fumiko Ladd Chino said, ‘the people with the very worst prior authorization stories aren’t here anymore to tell you about them.”’
