Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus: Recognizing WHO’s work in humanitarian emergencies

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus posted the following on X:

“Merci beaucoup France ONU Genève Ambassador Jerome Bonnafont for today’s wide-ranging talks on WHO-France collaboration.

Thank you for recognizing WHO’s work in humanitarian emergencies, including the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza, and the responses to the Sudan crisis and mpox outbreaks in DRC and other countries.

We also discussed France’s strong support for the Pandemic Accord negotiations, the WHO Investment Round and preparations for the opening of the WHO Academy.”
