MSS/MSI-H testing needs to be done with colonoscopy biopsies

Aparna Raj Parikh shared a post by CRCTrialsChat on X:

“We do reflex testing with colonoscopy but unlike rectal where all patients see medical oncology and radation oncology and surgery   at diagnosis, we also have to get our surgeons to send us patients with colon ca before surgery.

Also, the small ihc/pcr discordance   bothers me as msi-h is a never miss.”

Quoting CRCTrialsChat’s post:

“MSS/MSI-H testing needs to be done with colonoscopy biopsies, so MSI-H patients know their status and don’t have surgeries 1st.”
