“A dreamjob is often hard to define and even more difficult to find. But today . . .
I am excited to join Sanofi as Global Head of Oncology.
Why a dream job?
It represents the opportunity to lead the shaping and acceleration of a developing Oncology portfolio for a major global pharmaceutical company. To me, it is like joining a start-up but with the strengths of a large Pharma player!
Sanofi has a strong heritage in Oncology. Now, imagine top researchers in world-class R&D facilities working on next generation #cancer therapies. New acquisitions, alliances and partnerships are boosting the pipeline. The focus and determination of the CEO Paul Hudson, EVP Specialty Care Bill Sibold, the whole Executive Committee and the Board are paramount.
The name, the talent, the will, the focus, and the underdog status, there is no better place to be or better role to play than having the chance to lead and grow a Global cross-functional Cancer Unit at one of the most prestigious biopharmaceutical company, in a time of unprecedented scientific innovations!
I have been honored to work at AstraZeneca for my entire career, since my post-grad internship. I have learned there everything I know and participated in the growth of its leadership in Oncology across France, the US, and Emerging Markets; amongst other incredible things I had the chance to work on.
I returned to France over three years ago to be the Country President in times that have tested many of us and taught me countless lessons. I am so incredibly proud of my team for making possible many things we thought were not. I am, and will forever be grateful to AstraZeneca, its leaders and all the dear friends I have made over the years.
I also think that those who know me best will not be surprised by the choice I am making today. A choice driven by a thirst to create, structure, build a legacy and keep following the science, because it is the only way to ensure that what we do matters and is right for patients.
I want to thank Bill and Paul for their trust, and I am looking forward to meeting everyone at Sanofi in Boston and around the world, starting our journey together, and be able to share more on our vision and progress in Oncology soon!
This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting days of my career. A day when I hope to take my fight, our fight, against Cancer to a whole new level.”
