Emma Moran: Launching the CobiCure Fellowship for Pediatric MedTech Innovation
Emma Moran shared on LinkedIn:
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the CobiCure Fellowship for Pediatric MedTech Innovation, an initiative addressing the need for expanded education and support for innovators working in pediatric medical devices – a historically underfunded area. In collaboration with the FDA’s five Pediatric Device Consortiums (PDCs), CobiCure MedTech will provide fellows with educational and financial support, plus world-class mentorship from leaders in the field.
This fellowship is at the core of our mission to drive transformative change and ensure that pediatric patients are no longer overlooked in the MedTech industry.
Stay tuned to learn more about our fellows and their exciting projects: Juliana Perl, James Reinhardt, Jhalak Mehta, Stefano Pezzato, and Tamara Lambert.
Huge thanks to the PDC program and amazing leadership for partnering with us:
– Janene Fuerch (Hogan) and Impact1 at Stanford Biodesign, Stanford-UCSF Pediatric Device Consortium, Stanford University
– Cory Criss and Midwest Pediatric Device Consortium, Nationwide Children’s Hospital
– Chester Koh and SWPDC – Southwest National Pediatric Device Innovation Consortium, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital
– Kolaleh Eskandanian, and Alliance for Pediatric Device Innovation, Children’s National Hospital
– Juan Espinoza and Consortium for Technology and Innovation in Pediatrics, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
And finally, thank you for the medical device innovation experts educating and mentoring the fellows on all aspects of device innovation: Deerfield Management, Deerfield Catalyst, Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign, and more!”
