Congratulations to the 2024 Jen Brock Memorial Award recipient, Dr. Dinh Thi Lan Anh!

Dr. Dinh, a medical oncologist at Vietnam National Cancer Hospital, is recognized for her dedication to providing top-quality care to lung cancer patients, despite the challenges posed by limited resources in a developing economy. The hospital, the largest oncology center in Vietnam with three campuses in Hanoi, recently opened a new Department of Medical Oncology in 2024.

Dr. Dinh’s commitment to education, cutting-edge research, and her passion for offering the best possible treatments to her patients truly impressed the selection committee. Her work is a shining example of how to bridge the gap between innovation and accessible healthcare in resource-constrained environments.

About the Jen Brock Memorial Award:

Each year, a $7,500 grant is awarded to an outstanding young investigator from a developing country to support their participation at the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC). The award honors individuals who are making strides in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of lung cancer, while promoting accessible, multidisciplinary care—values that Jen Brock dedicated her life to.
