Wafik S. El-Deiry: Honored to receive the Inventor of the Year Award for 2023 from Brown University.
Wafik S. El-Deiry, Associate Dean for Oncologic Sciences at the Warren Alpert Medical School, shared on Twitter:
“Honored to receive the Inventor of the Year Award for 2023 from Brown University. We have technologies waiting to be commercialized and we have startups in need of venture capital and investments.
As this is the second time in my career that I have the honor of the inventor of the year award at Brown University I feel it is time and urgent to pursue the goal of translating our latest basic science into cures for patients with cancer.”
