“Today, I’m honored to share a special message from Dr. Karen Meliksetyan, a dedicated hematologist in Armenia. As a board member of The Max Foundation, I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Karen during his visit to the US this past spring and was inspired by his commitment to improving the lives of those living with blood diseases such as Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).

The stories from those on the frontlines of healthcare can be incredibly inspiring.

Dr. Karen has said, ‘For many years, the treatment of blood cancer, particularly CLL, has posed and continues to pose a significant challenge in Armenia. Not only are these medications costly, but they are also often unlicensed and unavailable within the country.’
