Alfredo Addeo is the Head of Oncology at the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG), Switzerland. His research focuses on circulating tumor DNA, liquid biopsies, and biomarkers in thoracic malignancies. He is an active member of ESMO, ETOP, and IASLC.
Umberto Malapelle is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Naples Federico II. He is the Chair of the Predictive Molecular Pathology Laboratory in the Department of Public Health at the same university.
He also serves as the Scientific Secretary of the International Society of Liquid Biopsy and is the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Liquid Biopsy. His research focuses on genomic biomarkers for predicting outcomes in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, and gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
