Highlights from The ISEH 2024
The International Society for Experimental Hematology (ISEH) is a global organization dedicated to the advancement of research and education in the field of hematology, particularly focusing on the experimental aspects of blood diseases and disorders. Founded in 1972, ISEH brings together scientists, clinicians, and educators who are committed to understanding the biology of blood and hematopoietic (blood-forming) tissues.
ISEH hosts an annual scientific meeting that is one of the most significant events in the field of hematology research. These meetings provide a venue for presenting new research findings, discussing innovative methodologies, and fostering collaborations among scientists from different parts of the world.
The society also supports educational initiatives, including workshops, symposia, and webinars that address the latest trends and challenges in experimental hematology. These initiatives are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of both established researchers and those new to the field.

This afternoon at 16.00, we’ll keep on going with our New Investigator Award Session with Els Mansell, where the top scoring PhD and postdoc abstracts will teach us about their science (join us at Fourth Floor Sheraton I-III).
Tomorrow Sunday, Anne Stolz and I will be hosting the NIC Technology Session at 12.45 (Fourth Floor Sheraton I-III), where we’ll hear three presentations focused on this year’s technology hot topic: organoids!
Last but not least, we’ll be announcing the NIC Awards at 15.10 (Fourth Floor Sheraton I-III) on the ISEH Business Meeting and New Investigator Awards Announcement.”
