Gabriele Grunewald’s Legacy of Strength and Resilience

“Gabriele ‘Gabe’ Grunewald faced cancer multiple times–including adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare tumor.

Despite her cancer diagnosis, Gabe was a talented distance runner, placing 4th in the 2012 Olympic trials.

She founded the Brave Like Gabe Foundation to encourage others to share stories of being brave through their own struggles while also helping to find better and more effective treatments for rare cancer.

Sadly, Gabe passed in 2019, but her husband, Justin Grunewald, continues her legacy and spoke with host Mark Lewis in this Your Stories episode.
