Tower Cancer Research Collective celebrates 15 years of leadership
The “Army of Women” now known as the The Tower Cancer Research was founded by Dr. Susan Love.
The Love Research Army, previously known as the Army of Women, later joined the Tower Cancer Research Foundation as the Tower Cancer Research Collective.
Utilising Tower’s extensive involvement in various cancers, their mission is to broaden the Collective and enhance research opportunities to encompass all types of cancer.
The Tower Cancer Research Collective is dedicated to promoting and advancing cancer research for everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual identity, or cancer diagnosis status.
It actively and intentionally seeks out individuals who are enthusiastic and willing to engage in cancer research. It consists of over 390,000 volunteers who provide a database available for breast cancer research.
The Tower Cancer Research Collective has a groundbreaking initiative with two main goals:
1) To enlist one million healthy women of all ages and ethnicities, including breast cancer survivors and those at high risk, to collaborate with researchers and actively contribute to efforts aimed at eradicating breast cancer permanently.
2) To urge the scientific community to broaden its focus to include research on breast cancer prevention in healthy women.
Tower Cancer Research Collective recently completed 15 years of leadership.
