“Sylvester hosted a two-day workshop to discuss the development of cervical cancer elimination plans in Latin America and the Caribbean, alongside the Pan American Health Organization and World Health Organization (WHO). We are all committed to eradicating cervical cancer in our lifetime.

Representatives from 17 Caribbean countries participated. Presentations were given by Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement Dr. Erin Kobetz, radiation oncologist, Dr. Amanda Rivera and gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Navya Nair.”
