Carmen Monge-Montero, Researcher and patient advocate at Youth Cancer Europe, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hi Network!
In this interview we speak with Amar Purišević, from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Amar tells us how was to have cancer in his country, his passions and tastes.
He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age 17. Amar shares their journey as a cancer patient and their inspiring advocacy work.
Thank you Amar for sharing your experiences knowledge with us and making a better place for people diagnosed and survivors!
MANO with and Beyond Cancer started as my personal project three years ago to connect with cancer survivors across Latin America. After talking to survivors from every country in that region, we decided to go global.
While we started with interviews in Spanish, we’re now doing them in English too, including Shauny’s, to reach and inspire even more people around the world. Stay tuned for more amazing stories!
Thank you European Network of Youth Cancer Survivors for connecting us!”
