Suzanne Lentzsch, Professor of Clinical Medicine and the Director of the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, shared on X:

“Prevalence of MGUS in Africa: a Population-Based study by⁦⁦ Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center team our study suggests incidence of MGUS is similar between ethnicities higher light-chain MGUS might reflect alternate etiologies, such as untreated HIV infection.”
