“I am excited to introduce a new series which will run during my term as ASCO President, “President‘s Corner”, highlighting incredible people doing incredible things.
My first interview is with Dr. Nasser Hanna, a thoracic oncologist at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and the leader of the End Lung Cancer Now initiative.
As some of you know, I spent my entire oncology career practicing in Indiana and have witnessed too many people suffering and succumbing to lung cancer.
Here, Dr. Hanna discusses the importance of finding your voice and your cause. His story is an incredibly inspiring example of empowering advocacy and embracing community.”

Robin Zon is the President of ASCO for 2024-2025. She also chairs the South Bend Medical Foundation and is a former Director of Breast Oncology at Cincinnati Cancer Advisors. Additionally, she has served as a Physician Emeritus at MHO – Advanced Center for Cancer Care.
