A Syrian Refugee’s Journey of Hope Towards Recovery – King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center

King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A Syrian refugee’s journey of hope towards recovery…

Just 7 months after his marriage, Bahaa received the news of his leukemia, after repeated misdiagnoses, while preparing to have his first child.

Despite the difficult journey, Bahaa and his wife decided to face the disease together. But the cost of treatment was a major challenge, as he is a Syrian refugee in Zaatari camp, and had to leave school at a young age to work and support his family.

Thanks to the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Bahaa began his treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center, and was able to gradually return to his life and work, continuing his path to recovery, God willing.

All thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for giving Bahaa and his young family hope and strength to continue this journey.”
