Jimmy Fund Golf presented by Mohegan Sun helps raise money for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
The Jimmy Fund shared a post on X:
“Bob Desautels started a Jimmy Fund Golf tournament with his friends and family while in treatment for brain cancer at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in 2021.
After Bob passed away in 2023, his friends and family continued the tournament, Keep Pushin’ To End Brain Cancer, in his honor.
“Our mission is to raise essential funds for brain cancer research at Dana-Farber. What we are doing at Keep Pushin’ is honoring Bob’s wish, that no one ever has to go through what he went through. His courageous battle continues to inspire our relentless pursuit of a cure” says Bob’s sister, Nika.
Funfact: The tournament name Keep Pushin’ comes from Bob’s favorite song, “Keep Pushin’” by REO Speedwagon.
Jimmy Fund Golf presented by Mohegan Sun helps raise money for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber — care that is making a difference each day for all those impacted by cancer. Learn more and start your own tournament.
