“September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
Let me share the inspirational story of Rukhma, our 15 year old brave and charming young survivor.
She presented to children’s hospital lahore uchs with a relapsed stage IV Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma. On presentation her disease had multiple sites E-lesions and distant metastases. With her exemplary will power and resilience she completed her treatment with a complete response Al’hamdolillah.
Right after the completion of her treatment she got back to her school and last month she passed her 9th grade board exams with flying colours, scoring 94% marks, Masha’Allah!!
Rukhma has high aims and wants to become a Pediatric Oncologist and join our mission Insha’Allah.
We are proud of you Rukhma! You are an inspiration for all the kids and their families struggling with this challenging disease.
Just keep on shining, spreading hope and courage always!!!! All the very best for your future!
